Business Email Compromise Threatens Nonprofit

When our nonprofit suffered a $29,000 loss due to a cyberattack, Justice for Fraud Victims (JFVP) was the first and only organization that truly cared enough to investigate. After months of being dismissed by our bank, donation platform, and federal agencies, JFVP stepped in, meticulously navigated our Stripe accounts, and uncovered critical evidence showing how our accounts were compromised. Their forensic work has been essential in building our case to hold Stripe and our bank accountable and seek recovery of the stolen funds. The work continues, and we will always be grateful for feeling heard and hopeful in recuperating from this tremendous loss. This could really happen to any organization, and this work will only become more essential as cyberattacks continue to become more sophisticated. Truly grateful for JFVP's tremendous work.
